Sword & Spirit Band: Home

EOTD CD Cover

The Sword & Spirit band is committed to writing and performing original music that presents an unadulterated, true and realistic voice; revealing the inner heart of foster and adoptive children in our communities.

Our songs acknowledge and identify with their fragile emotions and their pain; they represent the silent cry & the unpainted picture - seen through the eyes of the children we care for.

We take great care in presenting this voice to you that we may convey a message of hope and healing to them.

Our music offers a positive alternative to the angry, negative messages so prevalent in today's mainstream entertainment industry. Due to the vulnerable state of these children we feel they are particularly susceptible to these messages and a source of positive energy is needed.

In 2006 we began offering free music mentoring programs to underpriviledged children in Vermont and Canada. In an effort to expand these programs so that as many children as possible may benefit, we are developing a non-profit organization called 'Eye Of The Dreamer Productions'

Our Mission:

Create a hightened sense of awareness to the needs of underpriviledged children and their families by educating and motivating our communities through music, art, drama and literary productions

Develop and promote projects through music and the arts that reach out and effect positive change in the lives of these children and those who care for them.

Our Vision:

Is to establish a Music & Arts Center, that will empower underpriviledged children all over North America to utilize the therapeutic healing found in music & the arts and to provide them with the vision & opportunity in which to channel their creativity in a manner that reflects positively in their lives and communities.

We are also creating a publishing house that will showcase the creative talents of these children within their local communities.
